Having watched the boys go from strength to strength, taking on the music world with their mix of lo-fi, ambient, electro and Indie, I get a great feeling that this year will be the big one for the band.

Zachary Lucky new album to be released March 6th.

'Lucky’s music is a fresh take on traditional folk; a melodic and usually acoustic affair, with an accent on storytelling and a sparse, folky atmosphere'- Taken from Zachary Lucky's webpage
The time has come. After waiting just over a year for Saskatoon's, Zachary Lucky to give us what we have been waiting for, he finally is due to release his brand new full length album, 'Saskatchewan'.

After releasing his first full length album 'Come and Gone', Lucky took to the road and has toured the continent several times. Appearing in front of crowds in their hundreds, as well as audiences in small clubs or coffee shops.

If you live in Canada and are a fan of the man himself grab your mates, family, lovers, who ever will come with you and get on down to the Christ Church Anglican in Saskatoon on March 2nd and be apart of wonderful Zachary Lucky's album launch and be sure to walk away smiling.

Already I can sense that this new album will be one of my albums of the year. I see great things for this young fellow.

New Cassettes drummer, Tommy departs the band.

After being apart of the band since day 1 New Cassettes's drummer, Tommy departs the band and takes his first steps into father hood. Due to have a baby this year Tommy decided that it was time to leave the band and concentrate on his little family. I would like to take this opportunity and wish him luck in the future.

The band have taken on a new drummer called Ed Hoare. The band shall be playing Northampton's, Roadmender on the 24th February before jetting off to take on SXSW in March.

Good luck boys.
